Taking ahead the campaign to develop the State capital as a model city with all modern amenities and recreation centres, Arunachal Pradesh CM Kalikho Pul has laid special focus on beautification of various public parks in the capital city.
Pul inspected the Indira Gandhi Park with a team of officials to prepare a comprehensive plan for beautification of the park.
The park has earned a bad name because of drug addicts. In view of this, the Chief Minister said ‘The Park will have green spaces for nature lovers. Different theme gardens will be created.’
‘The park will have walkways, aesthetically pleasing lights, an indoor stadium, and drinking water and lavatory facilities,’ CM added.
