Artists from across the country have converged at the ongoing Gandhi Shilp Bazaar in Dimapur to showcase their handmade products. A ten-day affair, the artisans will be displaying exclusive hand woven women’s wear and kids wear, crafts and jewellery.
The bazaar will showcase specially designed crafts from Assam, Meghalaya, and Nagaland. The colourful attires of Bodoland, imitation jewellery from Pondicherry, cane and bamboo furniture and silpatti from Kochbihar of West Bengal, Kohlapuri shoes, crafts from Panaji, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Indore, Gwalior, and a lot more will also be showcased.
The event is being hosted by Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation (NHHDC) Limited and has been sponsored by the Office of the Development Commissioner (handicrafts), Ministry of Textile, Government of India.
