Legendary American instrumental guitarist, Neil Zaza, famously known for the melodious track ‘I’m Alright’, is set to return to Nagaland on June 20, after a little over 13 months since he last visited the state. Loved deeply by the people of Nagaland, Zaza had in his previous visit played at various location including Dimapur, Wokha and the state capital Kohima.
His return can be taken as him keeping his commitment when he promised of returning to perform for the people the last time he came.
His song ‘I’m Alright’ is undoubtedly one of the most covered songs in the state as Nagaland being a state full of guitar fanatics, the song had been performed over and over in various concerts, musical nights and jamming sessions.
Besides holding concerts, Zaza will also be the resource person for a guitar workshop at hotel Acacia, Dimapur on June 20, 4 p.m.
Topics for musicians including composition, audio production, musicianship, tips on gadgets, touring and live performance etc will be deliberated during the workshop.
