‘Art washes from the soil the dust of everyday life.’ – The thought was stated by the great artist Pablo Picasso himself. Be it the place of our nativity or be it even the juxtaposition between a rural or an urban site, somewhere between all those, we are encapsulated by a strong force of unseen gratification, which may be termed as art. Each and every person becomes besotted with the vividness in art, as they get the hedonism, more often than not, they search for.
The way we move through the quotidian events of our life, it’s very difficult for us to maintain our sanity for long. Therefore to cope up with the monotonous events of our humdrum life, we are again ameliorated by some kind of art that is designed by some simple ‘amazeballs’. Those persons with their audacity and fanatical quality show their artistic skills and make the mass of people realize, how beautiful art can be. Be it an artist painting an abstract with a coruscating kaleidoscope of colours, with sarcasm surrounding all around, a singer, a dancer or an actor fascinating the bevy with their scintillating physical and mental emotions or a forever enigmatic writer penning down his thoughts playing with the words. With the trail of unspoken emotions on their work, an artist’s life forever remains an irony.
Yet the term ‘artist’ is quite a gigantic one. A singer, a writer, a dancer or an actor all can perform their work with precision, but the tag of ‘artist’ is way beyond than just performing the individual’s task. Not going way to far, the term ‘artist’ can be understood by scrutinizing the life of greats like Mahapurukh Srimanta Sankardeva, Nelson Mandela, Rabindra Nath Tagore, Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha and the list goes on. An artist defines tremendous power of positivity as well as his works forever influence the people to follow the virtuous path and perform ethical deeds. For his alluring candour, an ‘artist’ forever remains a generation’s heartthrob and slowly the mass of people start drawing inspiration from his life. Hence an artist forever remains immortal.
Thus, an individual should dream of doing his/her work as an artist and not just as a person performing his skills. ‘Create the art you want showing your artistry but then forever try to be the artist of a generation.’
