Good news in the offing for those Bollywood fans in Northeast India who crib about this region not getting proper representation in Hindi cinema. Superstar Aamir Khan has announced that he might shoot a movie in this region if he gets a good script. Khan has been mesmerized by the natural beauty of Northeast where he is currently vacationing with his family.
Interacting with mediapersons at Bogibeel Ghat, ‘Mr Perfectionist’ Khan said, ‘The scintillating natural beauty of Northeast has bowled me and my wife Kiran. Three years back also, we had visited Assam. This time, we have been accompanied by our son Azaad. The hospitality and people of this region is second to none. If we get a good script, we will really like to make a movie here.’
Khan also met Chief Minister of Assam, Sarbananda Sonowal at the Borjhar airport. Sonowal invited Khan and his wife Kiran Rao to be a part of the Brahmaputra Festival, scheduled to be held in April, next year.
Khan is presently in Meghalaya where he celebrated the birthday of his wife. He informed this on Twitter where he wrote, ‘Bringing in Kiran’s birthday in beautiful Meghalaya!’
