Why did you choose to pursue modelling and were there challenges along the way?
Modelling happened to me by chance, after Miss India. But I am glad that it happened. Yes, I faced challenges both internally and externally. There is a constant pressure to meet a certain standard, and sometimes you tend to lose your personality, but by God’s grace, I am still going strong.
What is it about modelling that challenges you the most?
I guess the part where you need to emote what the concept demands of you, like movies we also have to get into roles to emote.
You have been on the cover of Maxim, Grazia etc. How was that experience?
The experience was amazing, I loved it. Be it the lights, the makeup, the concept. It’s more about the experience you gather working with people renowned in the fashion world that gives you a sense of accomplishment.
What are your thoughts on the Northeast modelling scenario?
Northeast is growing steadily but I guess there is a vast difference in the way it works out here and there. People need to understand that first.
