Dibrugarh Clock Tower
It is often referred to as the first clock tower in Assam and was built at a cost of more than 20 lakh rupees. The cost of the construction was met by Oil India Limited, Duliajan with a donation of Rs 7 lakh, while Rs 8 lakh was received from the offices of the Deputy Commissioner and Dibrugarh Municipal Board. It stands 45 foot tall and was inaugurated on July, 2014.
Biswanath Chariali Clock Tower
It is the second clock tower in Assam. It is 46-feet tall and has a 4 feet radius structure with three electro-magnetic clocks bought from Chennai. The significance of the tower is that there are nine terracotta relief works on its body which displays different ethnic cultures of the area, including the Dragon of the Ahom era, the ‘Bhaluk Goshain’ of the historical ‘Gupta Kashi’ of Biswanath, Sattriya Dance, Sree Sree Gangmou Thaan set up by Srimanta Sankardeva at Borgang, Bihu Dance, Bagrumba dance, Karbi dance, Nepali dance, Jhumur dance and Zikir, the immortal creation of Ajan Fakir.
Dimapur Clock Tower
It is situated at circular road in the heart of Dimapur city, Nagaland and is called the Dimapur Clock Tower Junction. Most of the open concerts, protests and Gospel crusades and the like, take place in this area.
