Originally from Arunachal Pradesh, Jumni Kamki is pursuing an MSc in Psychology in Bangalore. She is the fashionista behind the blog ‘The Pink Cult‘ which features a variety of different fashion styles.
The blog started after she posted a few looks on a site called ‘Wooplr’. ‘After that, I went through a round of interview and landed an opportunity to do a fashion internship under them. The internship helped me a lot and opened up possibilities of the things I can do in the fashion world without needing an actual degree.’ She feels that fashion is all about ‘expressing yourself’.
This is a great look for a fun evening out with friends. She pairs an over-sized jumper/ sweater with high waist black shorts. ‘To make it seem like a no-pants look.’ To give it an extra edge, pair it with platform block heels and frilled blue socks. A statement sling bag will help complete the look.
This is ideal for relaxing dates and quiet family dinners. She is wearing a royal blue ‘gathered dress‘, with thigh high slits. To add some dazzle and wow factor, she pairs the dress with black block heels that has tiny gold chain details. ‘As for accessories, you can never go wrong with a clutch.’ She chooses to go with a monochrome stripe box clutch to complete the look.
If you are looking for a look that is chic but casual then this is perfect for you. She pairs a mustard yellow cartoon tee with knee cut jeans, which is very much in trend right now, and a fitting leather jacket. Complete the look with dainty lace-up heels.
