Currently underway, Nagaland Fashion Week is organized by Nagaland Designers’ Association. The biggest fashion event in the State, it will continue till 4th November. The Nagaland Designers’ Association, being the premier fashion organisation in the State, aims to provide opportunities to upcoming designers to showcase their talent and get recognized for their work.
The year, the focus will be on ethnic fusion fall/winter collections under the theme ‘Evolve’. There are 3 categories of designers, namely Generation Next, Emerging and Enthusiast. Part of the event will be held at Hotel Vivor, Kohima, while the grand finale will be held at Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre, Dimapur.
About 25 designers and 40 models will be participating in Nagaland Fashion Week 2018. Supermodel Ketholeno Kense and Professor Theyiesenuo will be present on 30th and 31st October, while the grand finale will be graced by Lithrongla G Chishi (IAS), Commissioner & Secretary, Industries and Commerce.
