William Koso, Asian Football Confederation (AFC) ‘A’ Licensed Coach and AIFF D license instructor said that for many years, players had been playing in muddy fields, due to which, he felt, coaches were unable to judge technical development. He added that with the new ground, they would be able to put players to a real test, to see if the players have the qualities to go into football as a profession.
The coach also acknowledged the present government for making the dream of a good football ground into a reality and hoped that more turf grounds will be built in other districts as well.
