Ajmal Foundation has announced a scheme for intensive yearlong coaching for UPSC examination for ten candidates from Assam. This will be for students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Minority communities. A budget of Rs 25 lakh have been earmarked for the scheme.
The coaching will be provided by GS Mentors, New Delhi. Students will be given scholarship to cover all their expenses like food, accommodation, cost of books, travel and other related incidental spending. The selection cum screening test of the prospective candidates will be held on, October 23. The seven centres will be Delhi, Dhubri, Guwahati, Hojai, Karimganj (Nilam Bazar), Silchar, and Sivasagar for the selection.
The interested candidates are required to register their names latest by 12 pm, October 22, 2016. The Foundation plans to declare the names of the selected candidates before the end of the current month.
