On all the five days of the Ambubachi Mela, visitors and devotees will be able to enjoy cultural programmes which will be held on the Sonaram Field premises in Guwahati. The aim is to create a healing and rejuvenating spiritual ambience that will make the trip even more memorable for devotees coming from all across the country.
Devkinandan Thakur, singer and orator of Bhagwat Katha, will be present at the venue throughout the duration of the mela. On June 23, Anup Jalota, best known for his performances in the Hindu devotional music bhajan and the Urdu form of poetry, ghazal, will be crooning for the devotees. Anuradha Paudwal, popular Indian playback singer in Bollywood, will be performing on June 24. In addition to that, local artistes will also be performing devotional renditions.
