Irrfan Khan is all set to star in a travelogue which will feature the picturesque location of Sikkim. The untitled project will capture the main character’s journey through the scenic locations of Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Sikkim. It will be directed by Tanuja Chandra.
The romantic travelogue film, which is due to be released next year, will start shooting in October. For this project, Zee Studios and Kriarj Entertainment have come together once again with Jar Pictures, after Rustom. The movie is supposed to be light-hearted with a fun quotient and easy storytelling.
Akash Chawla, Business Head of Zee Studios, adds, ‘We are focused on good content and credible partners. For this film, we have a world-class performer Irrfan in a never-seen-before avatar.’
Arjun N Kapoor of Kriarj Entertainment adds, ‘Our focus remains on cinema that entertains and at the same time, gives the audience a dose of well-crafted thought-provoking films, even if it remains commercial at the core. We are happy to say that our new movie directed by Tanuja is in the same vein.’
