Terrorism is a burning and dangerous global problem at the present situation. The Islamic terrorism which is generally called as Jehadi is a worldwide agenda. The ISIS is the head of all the terrorist groups of the world. In Turkey there is the FETO (Fethullah Terrorist Organization). In Assam along with the whole India, in Afganistan, in Bangladesh and in Pakistan there are the dangerous threatings of Hisbul Muzahiddin, Talibans, Al-Queda, Laskari Taiba, Al-Umar Muzahiddin and such other Jehadi groups which are spreading their cruel ideals among some motivated people. They are creating panic among the Govt. authorities and general citizens of all the nations of the world. Once the White House and Pentagon of the USA were destroyed and in this case many American armies and general people lost their lives. Many Indians lost their lives in Kargil war. Many Indian armies were killed by the Pakistani terrorists on Sept, 18, 2016 who entered the army camp of Jammu and Kashmir by breaking its boundary wall. Many innocent people lost their lives in Mumbai for bomb blasting. Recently on Oct. 15, 2016, the AUM attacked a SSB car in J&K and killed a few soldiers and such terrorist and Indian army encounter is now prevalent in the state. On July 15, 2016, the FETO involving with the Turkish army, attempted to kill the Turkish President R.T. Erdogan with armed equipments such as fighter jets, tanks and helicopters. It bombed the Presidential palace, National Assembly, police gatherings, public and government buildings. It failed in its attempt due to the resistance of some local people and other state institutions. During this attempt more than 200 civilians, 70 policemen and 5 soldiers lost their lives while more than 1490 people were seriously injured.
In India the impact of Jehadi or Muslim terrorism was started after the destruction of the Babari Masjid. During this time, some Hindu leaders and politicians spread their violent and hateful mentality on the Muslims. In Assam the impact of Jehadi has been spreading among some motivated and unemployed Muslims since 2015. The reason of spreading Muslim terrorism in Assam along with the whole India is that most of the Muslims are living under poverty line and they are socially, educationally and economically very weak and poor. Their socio-economic status is very sorrowful. The education system and the quantitative status of education of the Muslim societies are very low and underdeveloped. Such kind of sorrowful condition of Muslim society was recorded by the Sachar Committee appointed by the Central Govt. during the term of Dr. Manmohan Singh. The Musilms have no money for allowing their children to obtain education in modern educational institutions. They cannot manage their family for the lack of suitable economic support and at last some illiterate and lower educated youths support terrorism and join actively. The main causes of spreading Jehadi in Assam or India are poverty, lacks of proper education and guidances of the guardians and unemployment.
In some cases, the Assam Government’s negligence or loose administration about terrorism is noticeable. In this matter, we can take the example of Ranjan Dhoimary, the former leader of NDFB(S). Under his direction a series of bomb blasts was occurred in various public places of Assam on Oct. 30, 2008. Many innocent, poor and hard workers were killed and many hundreds were seriously injured for the bomb blastings in Ganeshguri, Panbazar, Kachari, Barpeta Road and Kokrajar. The Assam Police arrested the main culprit i.e. Ranjan Dhoimary. The matter of regret is that the last Assam Govt. under the leadership of former CM Tarun Gogai allowed him to release on bail due to their political benefit with BPF. So, this was a wrong decision on behalf of NDFB(S). The victims and their relatives along with the general people of Assam want that the main culprit must be hanged. The question is that under his direction many people were killed and afterwards he was arrested but why he was released on bail and why he is now living in open world? The Jehadi or Muslim terrorism wishes to establish their own dictatorship in line with a deviant religious view. Based on many years of training and techniques they received, they are very well on hiding their identities and deceiving others. Due to their strong brave, huge and worldwide members, adventurous works, available armed equipments, deviant religious views, available economic supports and use of every means to achieve their goals, the Jehadi is not only a threat to Assam or India but it is also a threat to all the governments and humanity of all the countries where they are operating their cruel ideals.
During the last 10 to 15 years in particular, the Jehadi groups have been serving a hidden objective and have killed many politicians and VIPs, including the ex-PM of Pakistan Benazir Buttu, many soldiers, Policemen, bureaucrats, Journalists and educationits with the aim of seizing control of all state authorities. At present such mentality is being operated in Assam, mainly in Barpeta and Dhubri districts where chances of spreading terrorism are more than any other place of Assam because of poverty, unemployment and lack of proper education among the locals. These factors are more prevalent in these areas because of the damages occured due to the frequent flood and erosion caused by the Brahmaputra and other rivers. The Jehadi leaders of Assam and other countries are trying to spread their ideology from lower Assam to upper Assam.
Thus ISIS, Talibans, Al-Queda, HM, AUM and LT are not only the great threats to Assam or to the whole India but these are also the great threats to all the victim countries of the world. Terrorism and killings are forbidden in Islam. Those who are killing people in the name of religion are heading to hell. The first thing needed is to dispel their misconceptions about Islam. Killing innocent people, childs, olds, weaks, Muslims or non-Muslims and carrying out attacks on crowd are the heinous crimes as per the rule of Islam. Committing suicides by suicide bomb or any other source are strictly forbidden in Islam. Those who are involving in terrorism should return to the path of Islam. To prevent terrorism in Assam, the Assam Govt. should distribute its resources, opportunities, rights and freedoms equally among all communities. The unemployment problem of Muslims should be minimized through Govt. and non-Govt. jobs.
All the Govt. authorities of all the victim countries should put up a joint fight against the Jehadi terrorism. In such attempt a terrorismless country can be hoped and democracy, freedom, human wills and rights will be the existing factors. I wish God to have mercy on Assam or India and wish the finishing of terrorism in the world..
