My Future Self
‘FUTURE’ that’s quite a heavy word. Is there any problem with the earth’s gravitational pull?
Well from the above line it seems you still haven’t lost your interest in astronomy and all things cosmic. I am sure you’re still that guy that watches all your favourite cricket matches and football(no matter how old they are) in loop. I guess you are still that guy that has nothing to say in general but can go on for hours discussing Sachin’s cover drive or an out of the world dribble by Leo Messi. If you are still all of the above, then GOOD, kudos to you for not having changed one bit. You are still that quirky guy. But hey quirky people are AWESOME.
Ok coming back to my point, its great you are still that unconventional guy people know you to be. But I want you to make some changes. You know you cannot go on like this all your life.
For starters, I want you to take that holiday in a remote place (cut off from the world) you have been wanting to for all these years. If you have, then I guess by now you have rediscovered yourself. If you haven’t, don’t drive yourself mad by postponing it further. Go on find your own Shangri-La.
Second, I want you to stop dwelling in your past. Dwelling isn’t the right word, blaming seems the most apt description. We all make mistakes and we learn from our mistakes. That’s Life. PERIOD. Blaming yourself won’t do any good instead learn to appreciate yourself for all that you’ve accomplished. It doesn’t seem to be a big deal unless…..
…you come out from the shell of imposter syndrome and appreciate yourself for who you are. Lastly I hope your dream of getting an MBA from a top B-school has also been realized. Also try toning down a bit, losing a bit of weight won’t do any harm right?
Well if you have worked on these aspects, I am sure you are sorted out. So see you twenty- thirty years down the line. Till then
You Know who I am.
