Larsing Ming Sawyan, Shillong Lajong FC CEO and managing director, said, ‘This enterprise is part of our initiative to think out of the box and come up with revenue models that will help in sustaining the operations of the club in the long run. In the absence of traditional revenue models for football clubs in India such as broadcasting revenue, central sponsorships etc we have decided to look at unique revenue models to sustain our operations.
