Vivanta by Taj Guwahati, is focused on introducing newer and international cuisines which have hitherto been unexplored or unheard of in this region, to its loyal guests and patrons. Keeping this in mind, they added Caribbean food to the regular dinner buffet menu in the “7” restaurant.
The Caribbean food will be featured in the Buffet Dinner along with the regular Indian, Asian and Continental fare. Guests will be able to indulge in authentic flavours of traditional Indian and International cuisines along with exclusive Caribbean fare.
Executive Chef Sovan Das, who has plenty of experience cooking multiple cuisines, has also learnt Caribbean cuisine, having spent many years in the region, learning and honing his skills. He curated the special menus for this exclusive promotion, which takes guests on a Caribbean culinary cruise.
Cuisines from Jamaica, Barbados and Antigua and Caicos will be showcased. Some of the items that guests can look forward to are Creamy Jerk Spiced Mushroom, Jerk Chicken, Jerk Sausages, Yam & Cheese Steak , Pumpkin Rice, and Sweet Potato Cake.
This promotion will be held from 21st of April to 30th April, 7:30 pm onwards.
