Her performance has managed to impress many stalwarts of the Hindi film industry. Kangana Ranaut said, ‘I felt overwhelmed and I was in tears. I wish I wasn’t so emotionally fragile and could say this in person but I loved your work, so honest and so natural. Congratulations and I feel this will be a big success, so be ready for it. I am actually overwhelmed and shaken with the experience. It’s by far the best cinematic experience.’

Albert Hungshi from Manipur is also working as an assistant director in the film which has managed to get positive reviews from the critics and the Hindi film fraternity.
Jivitesh speaks to Eclectic Northeast, ‘It has been a great learning experience. From changing the script to holding the clapperboard, we are involved in everything and the inputs from the seniors have helped me look at filmmaking in a whole new way. I was also amazed to see Bachchan Sir’s energy during the shoot, his punctuality and positivity inspires everyone present at the shoot.’
Indian news anchor Dibang who grew up in Arunachal Pradesh also plays the role of a cop in Pink.
The film’s producer Ronnie Lahiri was born in Nagaland and grew up in Shillong. Over the years, he has made a significant effort to encourage greater involvement of skilled people from the Northeast in Bollywood.
